+ HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
For weddings most couples book me out 6 months to a year in advance. I book for the year of and the following year starting in March of the current year. I book on a first come, first serve basis. I recommend booking me as soon as you have a date and can pay my 50% non refundable retainer to insure you have me for the date you need.
+ DO YOU SHOOT SAME SEX WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS?
Oh hell yes! I believe that love is love and turning people away based on their sexual orientation is not valid excuse not to work with them. I am here and more than happy to capture each and every couple's special day and other special moments in their lives no matter who they are or what their story is.
+ WHO WILL BE THE SECOND SHOOTER AT MY WEDDING?
If you choose to add a second shooter to your wedding photography package, they will be chosen from a list of strong second shooters that I have worked with in the past based off their experience, portfolio, style, personality and professionalism. Everyone on my second shooter list is someone I trust can will provide a stellar Brooke Silverman Photography Wedding Experience!
+ HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE DEDICATE TO PORTRAITS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
I recommend 100% doing a first look on your wedding day. Those take usually 10 - 15 minutes and you get some beautiful portraits from them. Plus added bonus, you also get to spend some private time with your significant other before you are surrounded by friends and family the rest of the day. In addition to that, I also recommend 20 - 30 minutes for us to get some killer sunset photos! You will have a variety of portraits to look back on from your wedding day by doing both these things and you will be left with plenty of time to enjoy your wedding!
+ HOW MANY PHOTOS SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE FROM A WEDDING WITH YOU?
While I can't provide an exact number of photos from a wedding I can promise that you will receive between 400 and 800 edited images from your wedding between what myself and my second shooter takes. On average, you will receive between 50-100 photos per hour. I believe in delivering quality photos over quantity. A smaller number of quality photos says more that a ton of average photos. I do promise you I will give you all the best photos from our time together!
+ WHAT ALL AM I CHARGED FOR IF I BOOK YOU FOR A DESTINATION WEDDING?
For destination weddings, I charge for 2 nights of accommodation (the night before and night after), my roundtrip plane ticket, luggage, a stipend for food and a rental car. If the wedding is international, I charge for 5 nights of travel just to insure I get there on time and can adjust to the potential time zone change. If you choose to add a second shooter, I charge for their travel, luggage and a stipend for food for them as well. My second shooter and I will share a room for the night before and after.
